  On Friday 24th April, 6 children from KS1 took part in the Small Schools Football Tournament.  Our team played 7 matches and won 6 of them!  Unfortunately we were knocked out in the semi finals but what a team!   Everyone there agreed we were the best - it just wasn't out day!

  On March 25th, just before the Easter break, we took part in the Small Schools 5-a-side football tournament - and what an exciting afternoon it was!!  The ten teams were placed in two leagues and we came top in our league after winning all four games.  We went on to play the runners-up of the other league but as the full time whistle went we were drawing 1-1.  We had extra time but even after that the score was a draw.  And so it went to penalties - which we went on to win.  Then it was time for the final!!  Full time came and went and then extra time came and went.  And  still we had a draw - and so to penalties again.  After taking 5 each we still had a draw - so it went to Golden Goal and eventually, after 12 shots each, we won!!!

  Well done everyone!  It was a great afternoon and I felt really proud to be there.  A special thank you to Mr Shepherd.  We couldn't have done it without you!!
