Our Beautiful shining Christmas Nativity STARS!!

10th December - Tasting foods from around the world. We know that within our community there are different cultures. We were so lucky to sample dishes from the families that are in our community. We tasted Indian, Polish, Nigerian, Mexican and Spanish dishes. We evaluated the dishes and wrote down what we thought of them.

15th December - Tucking in to our Christmas Dinner

Week beginning 7th December - DT - Cooking. What would Phileas Fogg eat around the world? We chose to make 'Tacos' from Mexico and 'Strudel' from Germany. Lots of chopping, grating, crushing, rolling, brushing and mixing went on! We researched existing recipes online before we decided what and how to make it.

16.11.20 Learning about tradespeople and their crafts. Making Mexican - Day of the dead masks.

17.9.20 Star of the day! Well done for your wonderful learning attitude!

17.9.20 Today's Outdoor Gymnastics - Balance focus in paired work. Using our bodies to create counter tension. Here we keep our balance by pulling against our partner. Lots of wonderful partner work, cooperation and balancing skills going on.

17.9.20 Year 1 continuous provision - Addition, counting in 10s, sorting transport facts and coin recognition.
