The football represents the Earth and the table tennis ball represents the moon. We worked out a scale to represent the distance they are from each other. Then, using the same scale, we worked out the distance of the sun which you can see represented by the parachute in the orchard.
In science we worked out a scale to represent the distances of the planets from each other, the children are different groups representing different planets. Saturn is in the orchard. We worked out that Uranus would be in Highland Avenue and Neptune by Asda according to our scale
During the Easter term, the children presented a Stations of the Cross assembly and produced artwork to represent the suffering of Jesus.
