Wednesday 23rd March - We created a word cloud about what Easter means to us. We created it on mentimeter. This was our cloud.

Friday 19th March - St Joseph's Day. Class 2 made St Joseph Prayer focuses influenced by the old Italian traditions in homage to St Joseph. Each item on the focus is significant and displays the wonderful attributes belonging to St Joseph that we aspire to.

Home learning Week beginning 1st February: Writing stories about our 'Every day Superheroes'

Week beginning 1st February RE - We know that we share special meals with people we love like Jesus did at the last Supper.

January 19th ART - Self Portraits

This Term our topic is 'Famous Nurses'. We have learnt all about Florence Nightingale and here are some of the fact files that were written as part of a home learning writing task. The children drafted, edited and then presented their writing in their best. Great effort and writing and facts Class 2!

Our Beautiful shining Christmas Nativity STARS!!

10th December - Tasting foods from around the world. We know that within our community there are different cultures. We were so lucky to sample dishes from the families that are in our community. We tasted Indian, Polish, Nigerian, Mexican and Spanish dishes. We evaluated the dishes and wrote down what we thought of them.

15th December - Tucking in to our Christmas Dinner

Week beginning 7th December - DT - Cooking. What would Phileas Fogg eat around the world? We chose to make 'Tacos' from Mexico and 'Strudel' from Germany. Lots of chopping, grating, crushing, rolling, brushing and mixing went on! We researched existing recipes online before we decided what and how to make it.

17.9.20 Star of the day! Well done for your wonderful learning attitude!

17.9.20 Today's Outdoor Gymnastics - Balance focus in paired work. Using our bodies to create counter tension. Here we keep our balance by pulling against our partner. Lots of wonderful partner work, cooperation and balancing skills going on.

17.9.20 Year 1 continuous provision - Addition, counting in 10s, sorting transport facts and coin recognition.
