Choose an activity for each day

Some activities from the  Harwich Festival 2020 (25th June – 5th July) will now be digital – for more information visit the Harwich Festival website.  

 

1. Art - 20cm x 20cm Digital Exhibition – Create art work measuring no more than 20cm x 20cm – all ages and experience are welcome. Submitted work will be included in a digital exhibition and catalogue. Use items from around the house – like the back of a cereal packet for your canvas! 2. Creative Writing – ‘Words from lockdown’ -   The Harwich Festival calls for writers of all ages and abilities to take part by creating short pieces of writing: prose or poetry, but no longer than 1 A4 page reflecting their feelings/experiences raised by the lockdown.  All entries will be displayed online via the HF website. 3. Film Makers – ‘Harwich Shorts’  Create short Films – no longer than 10 mins in length for inclusion in our Harwich Shorts Film Festival – HF will be releasing some online resources to help you, including a guide to stop go animation. Some of the best films will be screened at the Electric Palace once social distancing measures have been relaxed.
